Devlog #3: Let's SWITCH it up a bit ;)

Today's update brings along a few changes. The first of which you'll notice is that the asset has undergone a rebranding. No longer is this asset being called the Deimos Engine, instead we welcome you to the shiny, the new, the ever hungry...

What is a dope fish, you may ask? The Dope Fish emerged back in 1991 when id Software released their game Commander Keen. It made its first ever appearance in Episode IV where it would swim around and take bits out of the titular hero before promptly belching!

It has since made appearances in several id Software games over the years, and has branched out into other IPs as well, such as Sin Episodes, Battlezone, Kingpin: Life of Crime (as a hidden character skin) and more!

So why did we chose to go with the moniker of DopeFish? The answer is simple, because it's cute! Just look at that happy little fishy looking "F" in our shiny new logo! Far easier on the eyes!

Today's second change is actually about engine features, yay! In short, switches now act like switches, and doors now also do the same thing they were doing in the last update still but whatever, here's a video!

Thanks for sticking around and reading all of this silly nonsense. I hope that you've enjoyed yourself, and if you liked what you read, please feel free to share this with your Game Maker using pals! I'm sure we could all use an easier way to create robust 3d environments!
